Exhaust question
Exhaust question
Is there aftermarket Exhaust setups that are made for our cars? I looked in the Performance Links sticky and I saw a reference to Pacesetters selling an application for our cars but it appears they only start at 89. So is going to a shop and custom creating the only option? Or is there any other cars or vehicles that an after market exhaust application would work?
What kind of pipe diameter should be looked for to provide more exhaust flow but still have the required backpressure (I am guessing 2.5" diameter? Seems like a very standard size on mufflers atleast.) Also what is a good cheap muffler brand and any preferred styles or is that just up to whatever the person likes appearance-wise. I looked for MagnaFlow mufflers and they were a bit on the expensive side for me. Also has anyone attempted a dual exhaust system and either failed (and what were the problems?) or succeeded? Thanks for the info.
I just got a magnaflow off of ebay for 54 bux shipped...and they have plenty more like that too. I know you can get thrush for cheaper and a few other brands but I thought $54 was a good deal for a magnaflow
