Cure for plastic headlight hazing

dunno if anyone's tried it, but I did cos it came with a good recommendation from several of my customers. it's this stuff called blue magic plastic and plexiglass cleaner. we sell it at auto zone and it's like $5 for a bottle of it, but it works great. I tried it on my headlights (the plastic lenses) and they look good as new, no more white hazing that it had before. I can literally almost see right through them. I used it on the plastic cover for the instrument cluster and lo and behold, it looks great. it also works on tail lights and the plastic wind deflectors you put around your window.

just thought I'd let everyone know. I've seen headlight-related posts in the past.

Finally someone has a cure for hazing that works! My friend has a SVT Contour and unfortunately they're known for their UV coating on the headlights to deteriorate after only a coupla years. We've tried everything to get it to come off but :alas: to no avail. I'm glad someone posted about this! Maybe I should try them on my headlights too.....
