How large is the water/alcohol tank? How long does it last?

Since I took all the EGR crap out of my car, this opened up a whole bunch of space on the drivers side of the engine compartment. I mounted a large windshield washer tank as the source of the liquid. How long does it last? Lots of variables on this one: jet size, pump flow rate, trigger point (at what PSI does it kick in), how heavy is your foot. :-)

1 day, 1/2 week, one week, it all depends. I always check the tank and just top if off, right now I am using just water. Easy as pie.

thats the screw that you use to set your timing. Shine a timing light in there then loosen the screw and the the dis, clockwise or counter-clockwise to get your timing set where you want it then tighten the screw back down. Don't tighten it down too much though, I snaped the head off of my screw and it was a pain to get out.

The timing isn't going to stop it from going 'tick, tick'. It's probably the hydraulic lifters ticking. What's your oil pressure at idle? And what weight oil is in there?

first no point in doing a 3rd gen suspension swap unless you want to go 5 lug, it's the same type of parts other then the hubs, read though the suspension sticky for more info..... the acronyms like CAI= Cold Air Intake, UDP= Under Drive Pulley FSTB= Front Strut Tower Brace

I know this is an old thread, but like a classic car I like to keep 'em alive.

1987 Maxima Mighty Max (what a lame name for such an awesome car).

All stock and mostly going to stay this way. I say mostly because once I locate all the interior parts that I need I have the following audio system ready to install:

Sony RSX-GS9 Hi-Res Digital Media Receiver w/ Bluetooth
MTX Audio 15" T9500 Series T9515-44 Subwoofers
4000W.
Two Cerwin Vega SPRO1400.4
1400W Stroker Pro Series Amplifiers.
Rockford Fosgate Punch Pro PPS4-10 700W 10" Midrange Speakers.
Rockford Fosgate Power T1T-S
1" 150W Power T1 Series Dome Tweeters.

87 Maxima

Swapped auto for manual

Right now I have a set of 1989 exhaust manifolds. Problem is the rear manifold covers the oil filter mounting spot. I relocated the oil filter but pressure is taking too long to come up. All the 2nd gen manifolds I have ever seen have the front manifold cracked. I'll just have to braze one and run with it.

Why are people putting Stanza throttle bodies on Maxima? Stanza are 4 cyl. How is that better?

I would probably update the radio head unit but I don't see a dash kit listed and don't want to hack the job.
