I got a little problem, but first--
What's up everybody? My name is Jason. I drive a 1985 liteblue Maxima known to friends as The Legend. It was my Grandfather's car which was left to me when he died. (I was in 9th grade, so I've had the car all thru high school and first 3 years of college. I love the damn car but I'm in college and I have to trade it in because I can't keep putting money into it to fix it and my parents won't let me drive it down to just let it sit in their yard soo... I guess I gotta get rid of it. Needless to say this sucks.

Here's the question:
My friends and I thought it would be cool if I could get the voice (since it is the personality of the car) out of the car and "transplant" it into another car thus insuring The Legend lives on (with me) for the foreseealbe future.
If anyone knows how to take the voice out, please tell me. you already have my thanks.
Jason

HAHA, thats a pretty sweet idea. I would have no idea where to start, but I bet it would be a major pain in the a$$. Id love to put the talking lady in my next car (eclipse gsx or rx7 t2).

Yeah, keep the talking lady -- my guess is that she is in a brass box behind your driver's side kick panel or under the driver's seat.

Ask to borrow the service manual at your local Nissan dealershhip -- photo-copy the wiring diagram.

Once you have the wiring diagram of the talking lady and the wiring diagram of you next car -- match up the wires.

I would find a 8ohm speaker (not 4ohm as most aftermarket) in the junk yard, build a speaker box, and install under the dash of your next car. I wouldn't mess with the stereo/speaker setup of your next car.
