alright, my passanger side tie rod end is shot to crap, so i need to replace that (where would be a good place to get a new one, as well as for the drivers side)

but as to the tire wear problem, the inside part of the tire on my drivers tire is worn down past the tread, could that be caused from the damaged tie rod end? (the car also veers right if you dont hold the wheel)

it could be but i am thinking an alignment after all this would be good...it may even be involved in the tie rod replacement i dont know i have never replaced a tie rod in my life.

but alignment is a good idea any time...and new tires now

definately will want an alignment done, but my main concern was if the tie rod was the cause of the tire. it kind of makes sense i think?

Just keep in mind and alignment will only help if all the steering parts are tight. You're gonna need an alignment when you do the tie rod end anyway. You'd be better off getting the alignment, tie rod end, and tires all at once.

Sounds like camber is off to wear like that. Do your front end work, then get an alignment.

Yes, the bad tie rod can cause the wear you're describing. When/if it goes bad, it causes the tire to scrape, scuff, etc the road every time you drive, if it fails, the tire comes off and you can lose control. Good thing you caught it early

Get the MOOG one. Sometimes, depending on car, you will get parts made in Japan (prob. OEM). If they are not made in Japan, it will still be a very good part that will fit well. I have always liked MOOG parts for there good fit and well built nature.
