Why is every project I do on my car takes months

Well my max is out, again. (shakes head in disaproval) It was to be so simple change the springs and shocks. It turned out to be a diaster. I knew it was in bad shape and we did fix all the control arm bushings, outer tire rod ends, and a sway bar link kit. Thats all good and done. Now its the springs. They sold me the wrong ones. I had to special order them from the internet. Now they havent showed up yet. Since they havent showed its taking me an extra 4 weeks. I can only work on my car monday because thats the class I am in. ITs always like this when I do this to my car. Its supposed to take at least 3 weeks to do it ends up being 2 months. Does anyone else have the problem of working on their max or is it just me?

I kinda know what ur talkin about. I bought mine about two weeks ago and its been a nonstop project ever since. I got it and it started every time and ran decent. the next day it wouldn't start(1 day change cap and rotor). got that fixed and found out it needed the valves adjusted(2 days waiting for valve cover gasket, one day adjusting valves)got THAT fixed.the next day the brakes started acting funny(2 days find and replace glazed pads and scuff rotors)got TTHHAATT fixed and realized my transmission mounts were bad (still trying nto find them) I'm starting to like my 03 kia more and more
