just wonderin, is the crank puley keyed or do i need to find a way to keep its place when i put it back on so i can set my timing?

yeah, it's keyed, so it can only go back in one place

whiew ok, that takes a bit of work i thought i had to do out of the equasion

i had to use a puller to get it off, its stuck on quite good

i just, pulled....it came off....and about went flying

Yeah, be careful, that's a heavy piece of metal to go flying into your face.

its still not right.

it's not really that bad to do. i replaced the timing belt, tensioner, water pump, and thermostat on mine a couple of weeks ago. haven't had any problems with it since then. the only problem i did have while doing it was getting the crank pulley off, but i just bought a puller and it came off easy with that.
