Possible F/S: Stanza TB

If anyone is interested, you can just post here. I would take 25 shipped for it. My dad wants me to put the stock one back on the car. I will know for sure tomorrow evening.

ummmm....its not like on my fourth gens, where two throttle cables are coming to the (throttle thingy, where it hooks). When this was on my car my cruise did work, with the second gen I don't think the TB has anything to do with cruise.

Sold the car to my dad. He did not want a coolant bypass running on the car. Nothing is wrong with it, and my car ran just fine with it on. Do people use these on S12's? I had not thought about posting it there.

I know they are used on the early model 240's I believe they had the vg30 in them. They are doing the same stuff we are doing over here with our second gens. Except more of them have the 300zx ecu mod.

well i need a tb and this is 60mm right ? Im guessing this will fit for my 88 max , Is this hard to put on? and im guessing this works with the stock air box right? But i might just buy it and save it to put on when i buy a z ecu and maf , Doing the Real CIA. This will work right? Whats the stock on a max 50mm?

Yeah man, its 60mm. Yes it will fit on your 88 max. Its a direct bolt on, it does not take any sort of adaptor plate. The only thing I had to change when I had this on the car were the coolant hoses running thru the TB. I just had to run a coolant bypass which is really no big deal. Let me know if you are interested or have more questions about it.

How to do what? Coolant bypass? Follow the line that is coming into the TB, and then the one coming out of the TB. See where they go into the engine and then run one line going from one to the other as opposed to the lines going thru the TB. My paypal is cardana24@yahoo.com

yeah a money order is fine. Check your PM, I'll email you my address, just let me know when to expect it. As for the throttle cable, its easy just turn it to WOT, and then it slides out....its obvious when you turn it to WOT. As for tools you will just need a socket wrench to take the TB off, and then a flate blade screw driver to take the intake tubing off the TB.

It's easy. All I used was a sanding flapper wheel. You can get them at Sears. Just put it on the end of your drill and it will do all the work. Just mark the plenum with a marker and sand until you hit that point. It took me about 20 minutes. Just remember to stick a rag in there before you start going to town, so you will not suck all the shavings in when you start the car back up.

I think Niku might have wanted it. DJ the good thing about this, is you got a good performance mod. More air into the intake means abit more power and throttle response. Congrats on the new buy.
