How to remove right side half shaft??

How to remove right side half shaft??

i have a 1988 maxima, i have the left side half shaft out but cant get the right side out. I think i've tried everything. any help is greatly appreciated.

I never changed the right side on my second gen, but if its like every other right side fwd axle then it sould come out similar to the left side. There should be a mounting bracket holding it to the block. After you take that off you should be able to pull it out. If you can not pull it out then you will need to pry on it. I usually use a pickle fork to pry mine.

There are 3 nuts that hang the inner housing of right shaft to the engine( left shaft does not have). You must get them out then remove the right shaft.

alright thanks you where right i had to pry on it. it seemed like it didnt want to come out, like there was something holding it in place but after i got the bolts out of the hangar bearing it came right out.
