So in spirit of my car breaking after meets:

Take a look at this:

Pros:
Purely cosmetic
Alignment seems to straighten out a little
New hood spoiler mod

Cons:
Uh...dude look at it.
Need to find a friend with a forklift to pull radiator support a little.

On a side note, I drove the car home about 20 miles...she still runs, no fluid loss, and everything no wierd sounds.

Well, it can be fixed if I can get the radiator support pulled out. If that doesn't pull, then it might be the end for this car.

say it aint so. Looks like it can be fixed. Mine was much worse after my accident, and now it works fine, though it did take some time to get it to work. Looks like its a trip to the junkyard for parts, for you. Yours was one of the cleanest 2nd gens out there, hate to see it go.

Car no stop right smack into an Acura MDX. My car got all the damage...and the mdx had a little hole in the bumper. SUV > Cars.

This might be the end for ye olde max of yore....

Washington hasn't required a front tab since 2001. And no I wasn't showing off the HP....I was going 40 with traffic when it suddenly stopped. I locked all 4 brakes too and went a little sideways...

Mang, gotta get the ride back up and runnin. Thats how I had my accident in my 88 about 5-6 years ago, At an intersection someone ran the light and I hit my brakes and slid straight with the wheel turned away from the car and ran right into them. Was going speed limit about 40 mph and bam, I was so mad.

Damn Sarin. Sounds like my luck. ie.. 2 weeks after finishing my motor swap, someone rear ends me and totals the car.

What's the plan man? I see some old maximas parting all the time. Might be able to get parts cheap

Dunno, but I'm leaning towards retiring the car. It's literally been one thing after another with this car in the past year.

Someone mention a forklift? C'mon man, ya gotta fix it! Your car is the 2nd gen forum's most respected ride. If ya can't find a forklift just chain her to a tree and give it in reverse! Just repeat my motto - Stoned or Drunk, I'll fix yer Junk!

Getter done !

You can fix that! I had a 82 Datsun 210 that was worst than that. I chained it to my chevy suberban and put the car in neutral. Then just pushed the car forward for some slack. Then I give the car a good push back.

He's already done that before when he had a minor accident before that. New bumper, fender, and light assembly when he first came on here. Thats why that fender is a different color than the rest of the car.

Aye. The car has been hit that corner before. It's probably not safe to pull it again.

Well I'm most likely parting it out then selling off what's rest. Honestly the car has begun to develop many problems in the last few years...and I hardly have the time a lot of the time to deal with it. I thinking of moving on to bigger better things when I have more time. Don't get me wrong, I love my maxima. It probably one of the nicest sounding cars you'll fine, it handles well, and quick to boot (albeit not fast). My lost however will probably be someone's gain.
