Bigger brakes on 1st gen?

Has any one put bigger brakes on a 1st gen? I have a 82 Max and would like to put some more stopping power on it. May be a five lug swap at the same time?

I'm sure there must be. You are basicly driving a 4 door Z. Maybe look into one of the Z31 series 300z. Or the Q45/J30 with their 2 piston calipers. You might have to move up in wheels size. And maybe install a larger master cylinder. But it should be an easy bolt for all parts.

Stop that Maxima.

I did use 1st gen bakes, rotors and struts on my Datsun 510 wagon. It stops REEEAL GOOD. I was thinking of 300Z parts also. The 1st gens have a front wheel drive offset. I need to go to pick 'N' pull and do some test fitting.
Thanks for the tips.

If I ever do a trubo setup on my '84 I will probably need
more stopping power too. The Maxima has good solid
brakes but just like HP, you can never have too much.
