Yeah , you would have to find a tranny that will bolt up , And then fit under the car. Since it would sit in our car sideways. Unless you want to make coust motor mounts , And do a bunch of other modifactions ....
Okay lets dispell some myth here so that misinformation doesn't get spread.
As far as any VG block is concerned, they should have all the same mounting bosses, and the bellhousing bolt pattern should be the same. So you can pretty much put any VG block to any car that was design for that motor, and any tranny that was designed for that motor should bolt on. There is none of this "finding a tranny that will work, and a bunch of modifications" thing. Now if were trying to fit parts for the VG designed for a another car (I.E. Turbo, manifolds, etc) fitment becomes an issue.

I haven't seen anyone who actually did it but as maximase86 said, the block itself will fit fine. The accessories should also be similar, as they are the same as the z31. The issue is going to be the intake manifold I would think. It's much taller and I know that it doesn't fit under the hood of the z31's. But that's only if you use the pathfinder manifold. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't fit, but I could be wrong.
KALSC put the VG30ET into his car. However he had to modify an engine mount to clear the turbo, else it would mount up just fine. Most accessories will fit on the motor, but not neccessarily. The Z31 manifold can be made to clear. KALSC was able to get that to work.
