Any 2nd gens going to maxus?

I brought mine last year and was the only one. The General Managers from the Local Nissan dealership loved it. I will be sporting my newly acquired 4th gen this round but wanted to know if anyone with a second gen will be there. Stock or not. I even entered mine in the car show and people still liked it. I was going to have my gf drive my second gen up there this year but some things have set me back. I just rebuilt the Brake Master cylinder, well bought a rebuilt one and installed it. Brakes work great now. That was 2 months ago. What is stalling it from coming is an electrical problem with the brake lights. Just recently I went outside and my brake lights were on. I think the connector is the culprit or the button itself has it being on even when Im not pressing on the brakes. So, my car will be going to the dealership for that mess. Let me know.

Hey Q, there is no need to hit the dealership. I bet that the rubber plug on the pedal got brittle and broke. There are several cheap ways to fix it, one is to get a small bolt with a head bigger than the hole on the brake pedal switch. If you look above the brake pedal you should see the connector and there will be a hole that the rubber stop used to be. I used an old trunk carpet clip and put a zip tie on the opposite end for my car and its been working fine since. Then I've heard of others using a penny with some sticky putty as well.

So, thats what is on my carpet!!!! When I stepped in my car I noticed these broken pieces of rubber like stuff on my carpet. I didnt know where it came from and couldnt remember it being there days before. Thanks!! Ill have to look into this when I get home this evening. You said it came from the pedal not the black push button correct? If I can get this going then my car can get inspected and pass too. I was worried about that as well.
