so yeah, i put a remote starter in my 85 wagon, and depending on where i put the antenna i can get up to 100 feet of range but thats when its all held together with string etc, when i mount the antenna correctly to the wind shield it gets like 1 foot of range is there a certain way im suposed to mount it? by the way its a bulldog(alert) rs 350

 

not sure, when it was mounted with string, was it touching the body ?

 

when i said string i was exagerating but is there an optimal position i should put it at(it wasnt touching)
