how can I fix a stock body kit

I found a stock body kit for the 2nd gen maxima and got it. It has gotten some damage from when it was molded into the body lines of the maxima it used to be on. How can I repair it (it isn't a fiberglass one, material looks like a form of rubber or flexible plastic), or can it even be repaired?urethane filler? thanks

If its urethane then you can fiberglass it but i suggest marglass. Its more flexible than bondo but yea you can fix the kit.

if you do it take your time ive seen ppl do it and it looks wack

big_e-dog: I found it at the pick-n-pull in sun valley on a white maxima. It looks like it could be the shiro edition body kit, since the kit is made of the same material that the SE front spoiler I already have on my car is made of and the rear bumper piece is more like a rear bumper spoiler. Sadly the front bumper was FUBAR. If it hadn't been, I would have had the whole kit.

I will take my time fixing it, since I need to reinforce it in some places. The idiots(i think) that put it on before ground the edges down and did it horribly, since it has some deep channels on some pieces, and the rear bumper spoiler seem to be structurally weakened in some parts. I don't think that I will be molding it to the body, but who knows.

Yea i have used it myslef and works great. I do a great deal of body work and had used it alot.

if anyone knows wher i can get some for cheap im willing to buy and pick up from san diego to the la area...


look at how bad i need them...




they would help with the lowering and looking low effect...

not to you but i know how maximas look with them because i had some once, i can get them from kiminari but for 300 buxs

wow, I am liking how the max is looking. The ones I got are not like the kaminari ones, they are the shiro edition sides (as far as I know they are different) I got them for the same reason you did, will give the car a lower look.
