a possible AAV replacment

alright i was looking up some info on a VW rabbit i am lookin at and i found out they use and AAV and i thought "aw crap not that stupid expencive thing" so i looked it up and i came across a picture, it looks exactly the same, made by bosch...

if i remember correctly if you got one for a nissan it was roughly $120 almost everywhere, this might be a potental replacment, i just thought it might be worth mensioning if some one wanted to do the research.

I don't think that will work on the 2nd gen Maxima engine. One of the ports on our cars is through the base of the air regulator where it bolts to the manifold with an o-ring and the other is the hose connection. The one pictured here has 2 hose connections. I'm still running the same one I modified years ago and it's still working fine. See the item in the stickies if you're having air regulator problems.
