Greetings

I decided to keep my 2nd gen wagon that I placed for sale, as a backup car because I bought a 1983 Maxima Sedan automatic with only 56K.

The heater core is out and I know that's not going to be fun trying to replace it.

The previous owner only had it for a few months but discovered how much it would cost to replace the heater core and how difficult it is to obtain parts, which is why they sold it.

It's pretty clean, no major body damage except that someone wacked the passenger side view mirror and bent the door slightly. The interior is very clean except for the fact, the previous owner had a dog and they tore up the upper part of the door vinyl material on the door panels. Other than that the interior is in very good condition.

I plan on fabricating polycarbonate panels to replace the factory melamine (more like cardboard) and covering it in either CF wrap or even something different like Cordura or Balistic Nylon.

I have to wait until the storm blows by and have someone take photos of the car before I start modifying it.

I did not want to covert to coilovers so I had front and rear progressive rate springs, custom made, to lower the car 1-1/4". I should have the springs installed next week.

I was also fortunate to have found a brand new ADDCO rear sway bar "the last one on the shelf" supposedly. Just got it delivered yesterday!

I find it unfortunate that there is no longer a selection of performance shocks available, so I purchased the KYB Gas charged strut assemblies and inserts.

Thanks for listening.

Ernie

Sweeeet I'm in. You can use 280 or 240 coilovers.
