so a couple of days ago i got a 1982 datsun maxima diesel sedan from a farmer and he says it was sitting since 1992 and i thought it would be a fun project to work on so ive got a couple of questions
what would it take to get it running
would it take for it to run on wmo
i saw a video of a guy running Mercedes inline 6 fuel pump what's the pros and cons of this setup

 

I would say it's going to take fixing the reason it was parked in the first place plus fixing all the hose and such that have been eaten since 92. As for the fuel pump if it's a return style (don't know them very well) you should be able to use almost any pump that can be used for diesel, if not a return style you might want to watch the out put since it could over feed the system...... as for the wmo from what I understand you will need to distill it..... better off aiming for bio fuel.....
