Heater hose diagra

Does anyone know on the 2nd gen which heater hose coming from heater core goes where because I pulled both hoses to match at part store and now I forgot which is what goes what pipe a pic would help since FSM is worthless and the goggle online is useless where you can’t find a diagram or pic of it.

Hi,
I waited a couple of days hoping someone expert would answer you.
I am NOT mechanical, and get all my 1986 Maxima's work done by my mechanic.
However, if noone else can hlep you, then if you direct me, I could take pictures under the hood for you. Probably best to show you online with a Skype session.
But please don't expect me to unscrew this or that, to reach the part you need.
So if you would like that, please email me directly at paurushasp@yahoo.com.
Paul

haven't check this in a while, did you get it worked out? if not I want to say the top hose, the one that higher on the fire wall goes on the top but I can double check my FSM tonight and let you know for sure.

Thanks for the clear pic you saved the day now I can put it back. As far as that little hose you were showing gosh that is swelling well bad news is not easy way to replace since it has to come out by taking out the intake manifold and then there a hose that a u shape on the thermostat housing the. Two mounting bolt the. You slide it off and take the hose off. It a bit a pain I’ll take a pic how it done since my intake is already off so you can get a clear view how it goes together

Sorry it took me a few days to get back to you. I see you already have your answer. In any case, let me give you mine too.
See attached picture. This picture was taken from the passenger/right side of the car. It pretty much shows same as one of Allw86's pictures.
The driver (left) side hose goes to the top and the passenger (right) side hose goes to the bottom.
Good luck.

It won't hurt anything if it was connected backwards...It like reversing the hoses to a P/S oil cooler!
