Car Airfreshner

I was just curious as to what brand of airfreshner you guys use.
I"m tired of buying the little, round ones at pep boys for $2.50. The christmas tree ones are no good either. They both smell great for like one week and after that nothing. (It"s hard to get rid of that weed smell)

If you can provide a link or a specific name, I would greatly appreciated it.

Thanks.

Ok, I know I'm gonna get flamed for this one but Yankee Candle makes a good air freshener that lasts pretty long. I used to harass my girlfriend about her Yankee Candle air freshener but every time I got in her car, it smelled good. So I got myself one and was sold. They got a bunch of different scents too.

You can get them at card stores. Have a female friend pick one up for you if your like me and not secure in your manhood.

Every month, I just spray two shots of Preferred Stock Cologne under the fron floor mats. That stuff smells pretty good when it dissipates. Between that and the Lexol for the dash, our max smells great all the time. A little odd, but everyone thinks my car has always smelled good.

HAHAHA. Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one who admits it.

Two other air freshener tricks I learned during my dark days in the car rental industry: Fabric softener sheets under the seats will absorb any foul odors. Of course, then your car smells like laundry sheets but they do work well. Also, if the scent is eminating from your venting system you can pop the hood, spray some air freshener on the air intake thats up by the windshield, turn off the re-circulation button and pump in some fresh air on high for about 5 minutes. I do that about once a month or so.

plug in things

Man i loved those little strip air freshener that you plug into your vents. But I can't find them anywhere anymore.

I forget what brand, but it was red and had the "new car scent". iT was great.

I have a friend that puts a bar of soap in a peice of cloth and puts it under the seat. It will make the car smell good forever...

They make scented candles. Check out your local card store (or get your girlfriend, mom, sister to do it), they usually carry the air fresheners there.
