bose amps...

well, most people with bose systems who are looking to upgrade them know that it is always a hassle, so those who know a lot about it let me know if this would work.

I already have a aiwa head unit installed and am now looking for more. my plan is to replace all the interior speakers with alpine and i have 3 10" type s subs to go in the trunk along with 1800 watts of power flowing through a distribution block equally to all 3 subs. my question is the head unit puts out 50 watts/channel, but the alpine 6x9's handle 150watts, so obviously to make them sound to their full potential i would need to get some more power. now with the amps that are equipped with the stock bose speakers can i wire them to boost the power flowing from the head unit, or are they totally useless, because of the eq qualities of the amp i would love to keep them. that would give me that great power that i would need to power those interior alpines

I want to do this but am not sure if everything is possible, please let me know what you think, questions and or comments are greatly appreciated.

thanks
