I am not talking about the HID conversion or anything, just the lights that look almost purple but emit an almost perfect white light on whatever they are pointing at. Are these available for my Maxima, if so - how much? I bought some bulbs for my Z that were supposedly blue/white but tey look yellow compared to a 3.2TL.

Any info?

I think that is HID!!!!

my friend did a HID conversion on his Eclipse for $800, they came out as a light purple like the new Audi's!!(must admit it looks pretty sweet) but strcitly for the asthetic perfectionist and big time spender!!! in other words not a worthwhile mod to me!

HID is what you're talking about...I think you're looking at $600 to get it in a max. Post in general I know some people there have had it done if you want more info.

You're looking at $695.00 for the Philips HID conversion kit. But a word of caution: you'll lose your high beams when U put them in. But the trade off, I guess, is that they are DEFINATELY brighter. Just go to this site:

http://www.autodynamic.com/

Look on the left side, under "Lighting", and U R there.

Hope that helps, guy/gal.

I carry bulbs that are SuperWhite, and they really are! I matched them to my stock halogens (EWW). The HID conversion, if you really want it, 600 to your door.

I was gonna ask if you still had those SuperWhite bulbs, but I got caught up in this tranny problem I'm going through.

I bought some 100w/85w Higher wattage bulbs and upgraded my harness from "champion auto stores" here in Omaha, NE. The bulb looks like a rainbow. When you look at the headlight, it looks red, but the light emitted onto the road is that of the HID color. Definately a TON brighter than OEM. $12/bulb and $40 for the harness. On the back of that box (as with all other aftermarket bulbs) it says for "off road use only"...yeah Only if the cops think it's illegal, which here in Nebraska, it isn't. Just about everythings legal here as far as bulbs and colors go, as long as the turn signals are orange/white/red and the headlights are "on", then they won't pull you over.

Xenon...

That is what I am talking about - where can I get those? This is what I want. On the Acura 3.2TL there is an option "Xenon Headlights" and this is exactly what I saw.
