I would rather get an aftermarket clutch than an oem anyone with some suggestions would be appreciated. also if anyone has any suggestions on how i should be looking it would be a great help. oh yeah Matt93SE what kind of clutch are you using right now is it an aasco? whatever you have how do you feel about it? welcome to the party! now's the fun part of having a max. I had my tranny syncs go on me last october and it cost me...well quite a bit, to say I could've made a down payment on a new car with what it cost me. I basically got(as in rebuilt) a new drive train with everything in it for about $2800. Dont ask what parts were used. All i know is I was slapped in the face with that price, being someone who had no idea where to start looking for info but I still get a lifetime warranty on everything in there. I used Cottman transmissions, and as a matter of fact I was there today for a routine inspection of the tranny and service (which at least is free after they took my arms and legs.)
You can either rebuild which costs quite a bit, or buy a used tranny for bout 4-500bucks with a 30/90 warranty depending on the supplier.
