Where to buy fuel injectors?

Hi everybody,

Have two questions actually. First is, where is the best place to buy new injectors? I found some injectors at some site which supposedly work on our cars and they ran for $73 I think. They were made by Bosch. Do I need only Nissan made injectors or do others work just as well? And also I noticed some of them are different colors, like yellow or blue, what is that for? Does it matter which color?

And second, if I am replacing injectors, is it a good idea to replace them all? The thing is, 3 of my injectors need to be replaced, they are not dead (yet) but they are in bad shape. The other 3 are not as bad, but they are not in mint condition either. I wanna replace only 3 for now to save some $$$, although later when I'll need to replace the other 3 I will have do dish out more $ for labor again. Anyways what I wanna know is does it matter mechanically if I replace only 3 for now? Because I heard somewhere that the engines in our cars might act funny with just a few replaced, is that true at all? Btw, I have a 1994 GXE Auto.

Thanks for reading.

Oh yeah btw, the part numbers for the Bosch injectors on that page are: C1000-51453 and C1000-51454, the yellow and the green one. Anyone know if they work on a '94 VG?

IMO, I would buy three. Put the brand new ones in the hardest to reach places, probably the back, and put the ones that are in good shape in the easiest to reach places, probably the front. This way, if the front ones go bad, it won't be so hard. Good luck, and if you do replace any of them, get brand new o-rings, and use some kind of grease or oil around the o-rings. This will prevent more headaches. Also, personally, I would stick with OEM injectors.

About 'dem o-rings...
When I buy the fuel injectors... you mean to tell me that they don't come WITH the o-rings? I have to buy them separately?

The end of the injector has a blue or black dot. once the injector is pulled, you will be able to tell. Yes, you can use 300zx injectors. You don't need them, by themselves they won't make you faster, and they probably cost more.
