Spring/shock install

Spring/shock install
I just bought some Tokicos and Eibachs for my wife's 92 Maxima and have been calling around for prices for installation.
I've called around and everyone says "we don't do that type of work"
Actually, Pepboys said they'd do the springs, shocks, and tires (bought new tires and need to get those mounted as well) for $613.95
Right....
First, is there anyone that any of you know in the Atlanta area (preferably Northeast Atlanta) that can do this install for me?
Second, I'm technically inclined, and could probably do this install. I've never worked on this model before, but I'm fairly confident that I can do it. I just wanted to save the effort.
Is there anything I need to know before I get to work on it? I can loan a spring compressor for free from Autozone. I have a Haynes for the car, and I'm guessing it'll have a pretty good step-by-step in there. Anything else?
Finally, let me ask. Do I need anything else, as far as parts go, to finish the job? I emailed www.shox.com and told them what I was looking for and they emailed me back that all I needed was a set of 4 shocks and 4 springs.
However NOW I'm looking around on this site and am seeing references to struts and such.
Yeah, I know I'm a Maxima n00b, but I'm not a car n00b. I just jumped into this one too fast because I was trying to surprise my wife.
TIA
(P.S. Anyone in the ATL wanna make a few bucks? )

Just to make myself look even more st00pid
Sweet!!! Thanks for that!! I'm sure it'll help a ton!
Now for the, "I'm an idiot" part...
Just tell me that I'm ok with the stuff I ordered. All I have on the way from www.shox.com are (and this is how THEY labeled it)
Shocks:
Tokico's are $309.00
Set of 4
Springs:
Eibach pro-kit $219.00 lowers 1.2"
Set of 4
Is there anything else I should go ahead and get?
Thanks so much for your help... especially the install guide!

Part numbers
Ok, just got confirmation on the part numbers. (Still can't figure out why they didn't list them in the order)
The Tokicos are...
Front (Part # HB3067 and HB3068)
Rear (Part # HZ3132)
Which match the ones on your install site...
And the Eibachs are...
6311.140 (Wasn't too worried about this one)
So I guess I'm good to go, huh?
I'll rent/loan a spring compressor from Auto Zone...
I got the other stuff, although I probably should go ahead and stock up on the band-aids.
The ultimate example of "mixed emotions" is loosening that rusted-on bolt and slamming your hand into something else.
Yeahhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! !!!
Now I just need to sucker some of my friends into coming over on Saturday...
Thanks again!

I do suspension installs here in Georgia Mr. Ace, even though I dont own a 3rd gen I have done suspension on Hondas, Acuras, and Mitsubishis as well as the most pain in the rear suspension the Mustang GT!!!If you dont want to do it, dont have the tools I just need to look at the setup the 3rd gens have and you can pay me to do it for you at $110.00 to install everything. I do work out of my garage and I will doing someones third gen hopefully tomorrow!!!and will get back to you!!!Liquid wrench works wonders but I may use some Russian oil of my own and the nuts and bolts come right off .
whats russian oil???? the meat under your biceps, pure strength!!!

$110 is a very reasonable price for this job. If you don't want to do it yourself, that's the way to go. most shops will charge upwards of $250 for it.
Also, be sure to replace all of the dust boots and bump stops. if the struts have never been replaced on the car, I can guarantee they'll be in unusable condition.
most parts stores will be able to get them for $10-15 each, and the dealer has them for about $25 each.. often they'll have to order them though, so be sure to get them before you schedule an appointment to get things done.
