Intake install...

I boughtn a K&N Intake, and want to check before I start, do I remove everything after that little blok thing on the hose(I think it's a timing kit)? As in, do I remove the nissans stock "CAI"?
And is there any place that shows how to do it, just to be foolproof?

from the stock piece..u remove the actual "BOX" where the old panel filter sits in. there are 4 10mm screws/bolts that attaches the top of the air box to the MAF sensor. after that attach the intake adapter..make sure u don't lose the rubber gasket/ring on the MAF..reuse it for the new adapter.
