How do you react to stupid drivers?
#1
Last night on my way home from a 14 hour workday this Silver 4 door Neon starts ****ing with me. I had passed him up earlier doing about 75 and he thinks I want to race. Well to make a long story short, I ended up embarrassing him and his wife/girlfriend who was with him. I guess he got pissed that he lost and cuts me off twice so I do the same thing to him. After doing that to him about 4 times he takes an off ramp at around 80 and almost crashes. I don't see why people start crap with you then haul *** when you do something back to them.
Before you guys start stoning me for being a bad driver and endangering innocent bystanders I just want to say I normally don't drive that way.. Im just a regular joe driver. Well let me know how you would have reacted in this situation...

Well I can't comment on the stupidity of driving beyond your limits w/ others in the car(his situation). I figure this, since you already beated him, I would just slow down and drive normal. Yeah he might still try to mess w/ you but I don't see anything more to prove.
As far as dealing w/ people that make some kind of stupid move around you, well I've probably done the same to someone else either on purpose or not. Just shrug it off and don't let it affect your day. Not worth it.

Well I'm getting.....
flame throwing clear corners from APC(lol) and tire spikes installed on my rims(ala James Bond007)!!!! naw, just joking, when people tail me or whatever just slide over and let 'em pass or speed up a little so their POS 4cyl can't keep up!(lol) as for cutting people off I won't lie I've done my share of it after somebody pissed me off with a stupid a$$ decision they make, but the best thing to do would be to let it go, some peeps can get a serious case of ROAD RAGE and things can get ugly quick!!! be careful out there!!

Just ignore them. They'll be gone soon. Either way.
Anyway, he probably got a severe bollocking from the wife for:
a) being roadkilled. He should have nailed it in third and disabled the rev-limiter like she told him to
b) retaliating in an embarrassingly crap fashion
c) just generally being a pillock
d) Yes it is a big deal. No, it has happened before, and no other men don't have the same problem now and again.
e)She wishes she'd listened to her mother. She always said hed never amount to anything.

if someone's tailing me (and I'm not in the fast lane or waiting for slower traffic myself), I'll usually tap my brakes a time or two to warn them.. if that doesn't do anything, then I'll slow down to about 10 under the limit and stop the gas, leaving them sitting there picking his/her nose.
if they still are riding my ****, then I'll usually just pull over and let them by.. if they're in that big of a hurry, then I'm not gonna stand in their way. Then again, hardly anyone ever passes me because I always drive a little faster than the flow of traffic. if someone's going faster than me, then I'll let them pass and pull in behind them.
as for people cutting me off or doing stupie !@#! like that, I just slow down or speed up and leave them behind. I don't waste my time with people like that.. they already look like a fool for doing it, so I have no need or desire to retaliate. Besides that, I've had a gun pulled on me twice for returning the "favor" to someone who cut me off. I don't need speed holes in my car or head, thanks.

General Rule of Thumb
At the risk of dating myself, I did some of that stuff in my younger days but decided that the risk was not worth the momentary reward. I have watched newscasts about people getting hurt or killed doing stuff like that. Also, I have been in attendance at many an illegal drag race and watched cars wreck out. Frankly, I refuse to put myself, my passengers, other drivers, and Maxine in that kind of jeopardy. Don't get me wrong, I am not a prude in the least, just prudent and very protective of my 3rd Gen "investment."
