Never done it, but I would guess you would have to find the same kind of connectors that are on the 2 wires on the new fogs to crimp on the stock wires for them to hook up right. I have no fogs stock, so I wouldn't know How many wires there are going to the stock fogs. But if it is two, that's what I would do.

thanks for your help
all your gotta do is cut the two wires and then just throw the new fogs on and im gonna use butt connectors to connect them. i just didnt know the wattage of the stock fogs. i would assume 55 watts?
i hope its not 35.
if the connectors match up itll be even easier
what kinda fogs did ya go with
im not sure if rounded ones will look alrite
but i have huge rectangular ones on rite now and they kinda look odd
im gonna rewire to come on with the corners too so theyre on with the hi beams.

anyways, if anyone knows the stock wattage, please help me out

heres what i got on there rite now

Yeah there are two wires coming from the stock fogs. ones the hot wire and the others is the ground I just cut the connectors off the fogs I bought and used butt connectors. I'm not sure about the wattage though. I'm gonna do the rewire also plan on doing it today.

yeah, stock foglights are 55W

like lowmax said, there are just two wires to the stock foglight, you can easily just cut off the connector and then use any kind of connector you want to attach the new wires to it

I doubt you'll find any other than stock that will use the exact same mounting pieces as the stock foglights. You're probably gonna be in for some drilling or creative hardware work somewhere along the line

skatanic,

do they fit directly into the metal fixtures of the stock fogs? or do u need to do any modifications to the fitting assembly? cuz if they have the same fixtures and harness then we may be in business...

i wanna keep my stock wiring and fixtures if possible...and just put in new lights.

Rest assured that 100W bulbs are OK if you bypass the OEM connectors. I had to cut them off to use STOCK fogs...long story...but I have "Off-Road Use Only" bulbs rated at 100W and don't usually have a problem. They burn out every now and then like other bulbs, but no catastrophies.
