Fuel Injector, Black or Blue…Please Help!!

Ok guys and gals, I have been driving on a sluggish car now for about 2 weeks, I found out that my top middle cylinder is dead as a door nail, my mechanic told me that I have a dead fuel injector. Well last night my brother and I took out 2 of the front three injectors to see if I have blue or black dotted injectors, well to my surprise neither of them had a color dot on them. The only thing that I noticed on the injector is that it said JECS on a few places on the two we took out. My question is, should I just order the black one?
