temperature

temperature

does anyone notice that when they 1st start there vg motor that it runs better cold than it does when it gets up to operating temperature?is it just my imagination but it feels like throttle response not as crisp as it is when the car is still cold

All cars run better when the engine temperature is cooler. This is why people ice their intakes while waiting for their next run at the track.

Cooler air is more dense than warm. The denser air burns fuel waaay more efficiently than warm air. Which, like jwhite said, is why people ice their intakes, and opt for CAI's.
