lights any idea's

just want to see if anyone has some ideas my "pass' side headlight went out so i check it turns out i got the melted plug symptom so while i was at it i looked at the driver side and it was starting to melt so i bought 2 9004 plugs got 2 stock wattage bulb hooked them up all wires are correct etc, turn on light only driver side works "this is with the 2 new bulbs in" on low beam,so i pull the lever for high beam and both work.. so i go thru the normal steps check relays,fuses,etc..all is good. anybody have any ideas on what else it can be "like make sure the cigarette lighter fuse is not blown hehehe " some cars are like that.. my next step tommorrow is to take the headlight switch lever out and see if thats bad..

you will have to replace the plug because where it melted, the power wire will no longer sit in the right spot to make contact with the bulb. i recommend getting an upgraded harness for your headlights if you realy want to run higher wattage bulbs.
