VE engine problems...please help!

Ok, withing the last few weeks, I've noticed a misfire in the exhaust. I replaced all of the injectors in May along with all of the o-rings, and put oil on the o-rings. I've narrowed it down to a front cylinder, the one on the right. I did a compression test on it and it had about 160 compared to the others 170. I checked the coil pack and the spark plug. The spark plug was not wet at all. I switched coil packs with another cylinder and it didn't make a difference. So my question is, what else could it be?

Question #2: Today on the way to school, I smelled gas on the inside. Well, I got home and checked it out and found that it's on the passenger side of the engine near the back fuel rail. It's also near a coolant hose and behind the VTC. Has anyone else had this problem? Anyone know what part(s) I'd need to take care of this??

Thanks for all your help!

There are 4 small rubber fuel lines that attach to the fuel injector rails, one at either end of each rail. They are only about 4" long. These are notorious for leaking if they've never been replaced, especially as it starts to get colder. They're pretty easy to replace though, just get some correct size fuel injection hose at Pep Boys or something. Don't get regular "fuel line" as the "fuel injection" line is reinforced and costs more. But the higher pressures of fuel injection systems require it!

Thanks alot, seems you knew exactly what I was talking about. This morning was really cold, frosty windows, 28 degrees out, etc, so this makes sense. What do I need to do to replace it? Is there anything I need to take off besides that hose?

Yeah, I'd buy some new screw clamps too.
