Mounts, Springs, Sways.

Mounts, Springs, Sways.
I'm about to do some work on my car this coming week involving Mounts, springs and struts and sways. My questions now are as follows:
1. Is it worth my while to take out my engine mounts (all 4) now, while keeping the engine jacked up, and fill them with urethane, leaving them to cure for 1.5 to 2 weeks before putting them back in?
2. Sprints or Sts. No-one ever really answered the question of which gives better ride, key phrase being better ride. Which does?
3. I also read from old posts after searching that any drop beyond 1.5" is not a good idea. Is this true? If it is true, what is a remedy and which would you advice me toi get and why? Note that I aint spending more than $200 for springs alone.
4. ST sway bars over addco: someone said in a post I read that he would go Addco over st if he were to change because addcos are thicker. Does this justify the price difference and is the difference in performance that much?
I think thats about all I have for now. Please help me out instead of the run-around of searching: I've spent all morning and half the afternoon searching and comparing.
thanks.

2) no one answered b/c no one has probably experienced both enough to give their opinion. i don't like the look either spring gives. neither seem to be even drops...
3) not true. you just need to make sure you have the proper struts in place to handle the drop/harshness of the springs. if you're not willing to spend the loot for springs then i doubt you're willing to splurge on decent struts so i'd stay away from the Sprints
4) well addco is ~ 1/8" thicker. I was going to do some testing of matching the addco rear up w/ the ST front but never got around to it. ST should do you fine....

Phew. someone actually took the time to give a decent answer: Thanks. More qs.
1. I was thinking of using this formula:
80 Shore A Durometer - 1lb resin/hardener - p/n 8644K11
94 Shore A Durometer - 1lb resin/hardener - p/n 8644K18
I got it off:
http://www.geocities.com/CapeCanaver...-r/mounts.html
What are you going to use for yours?
2. You said neither looks to be even drops. Which would you suggest?
3. I have kyb gr2s up front, and will be getting the same for the rears. again, which would you suggest for a drop if money wasn't a thing?
4. St sways it is.

Re: Re: Re: Mounts, Springs, Sways.
1. I picked up 94A. I'm not sure what the true difference between the 2 would be but from browsing around other forums 94A seems to be the more popular choice.
2. I'm partial to both eibach and intrax since i've had them both. Both were even drops for me and i finally went w/ intrax for looks. I've seen and driven/ridden in Eibach, ST, Intax and Sprints and the ST's and Sprints just don't do it for me as far as looks are concerned and I haven't driven either enough to say how they are performance wise.
3. Koni's hands down. Adjustable and strong....$$$

I've decided to do the following:
1. The kybs all the way. they're cheap and well..are 28% stiffer than stock.
2. 94A for the mounts. Oh and btw where did you get yours from? How long are you looking to let yours cure before reinstalling?
3. ST sways.
4. Eibachs (unless you say they have a very harsh ride.)
Thanks a lot for your help. Finally I can start ordering. Just need the last bit of info from you.

no prob...i'm bored today..the eagles aren't playing...
Remember eibach's aren't going to give you a slammed look but are pretty close to stock as far as ride quality and are the best out there for handling. The KYB's paired with them should be fine.
I ordered the 94A from http://www.mcmaster-carr.com and it was at my house the next day. Just follow the directions to a T because there is no room for error when mixing it.
Eibach
Intrax on the old wheels

thanks for the advice on the urethane mixing. Guess I'll have to buy the right measuring stuff to make sure. I'll send you a pm later when I have the ingredients to confirm the mixing volumes / procedure.
Thanks for the info; let the spending begin!!
