Labled "Important", there are some in most of the fourms. Also go to www.maxima.org and read the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions).

we don't mean anything bad, just that so many people ask the same stuff over and over. most likely you will find answers to most of your questions by using the search feature of this site. If u can't find any answers, post something and we'll be glad help ya out. btw a pop charger is just a cone intake filter.

No.. it's more like being an unpaid police officer.. you hear all the s*** that people complain about and are expected to babysit everybody and keep the peace, but you get nothing in return.

With all due respect Matt, I thank you for what you do here. But I also think that it should be considered a privilege to do it, but its sounds like you dont want that responsibility, instead you're complaining about you're obligations. You have great advice for everybody who posts here. You're job affects everybody here, I consider it an insult to think you have to babysit me. Its your job as a .org "parent." Is your job voulntary, or are you appointed to your position? Is the .org a democracy or a communist enviroment? But I do have to thank you for doing your job for those who do need "babysat." But thats your job.

He's not complaining, just listing facts.

BTW, it's your, not you're in the second usage.

Act like a child-get moderated like one
Act like an adult-get moderated like one
Act clutches-yummy!

Pretty simple.

Good lord, we are arguing about grammar and intent?

BTW. You can "write" what you want. Whether it stays or gets edited, is another story.

It's one of those situations where a few individuals ruin it for the rest of us. OT posts would be allowed if people didn't show ****, make slanderous comments against each other, racist posts, etc etc. this place was great before it became maxima.org and logged fourteen zillion members. with that many people, you tend to run across a few people who find delight in pushing buttons and causing trouble and generally pi$$ing everyone else off.
THOSE are the people that make me not like the "job".. otherwise it's a pleasure. I can share my advice whether I'm a moderator or not- which is why I was asked to be a moderator in the first place. I was actually the first moderator on any of these forums aside from Jamie, when he asked me to help out in the audio forum... I have almost no problems in that forum at all, except from the people trying to sell their stuff in there.
I usually just let that stuff go because nobody really causes problems in there and the rules can be much more lax.

again, it's like being a policeman.. before people started shooting others and robbing houses and such, there were much fewer laws and police were much more "nice" about things. Now that this place is full of freaks and idiots, you have to act as such.
