Stupid problem.

Heres another strange problem that my car seems to have. A couple of days ago it was pretty warm for this time of the year so I tried to lower my windows and only the driverside window would go down from the drivers side control. All the other windows could only go down and up with their own controls, also the window lock would not work. The day after, everything worked like new and it seems to alternate on days. Does this have anything to do with the weather going for warm to bitter cold quite often, or is this a loose wire.
If you have any ideas on what it is or how to fix it please let me know.

you may just need to get some contact cleaner (electrical contact, not contact lens) and clean up the electrical contacts in the switch.

It sounds like the switch is loose at the drivers control. The weather was probably a coincidence. If it was the regulators, then the window itself would have a problem, not allowing them to go up.

Also, you had a problem with the window lock, which is right by the window controls. I think you need to pull the controls at the drivers door, and clean the contacts.
