suspension question

What is the difference between suspension/struts/springs/sway bars?
when do you know that you need to replace the suspension and/or springs? when i drive my car i feel the road a lot and i was wandering if i need new suspension or springs. is there a way to check it? thanks guyz

Your "suspension" is made up of all the above struts/springs/sway bars and many others parts. Those are the more commonly talked about items of the suspension. If you're having any suspension related issue that you're unable to diagnose, best bet take car to mechanic and let them show and not just tell you what's worn/bad. Enjoy
