Blown Fuse?

The other day I noticed a little bit of a problem with my left brake light. At night when I turn on my headlights, both taillights come on as they should, but when i step on the brake pedal the left one almost goes out. It doesn't go out completely, one of the bulbs gets dim and the other shuts off completely. I tried switching bulbs but the same thing happened. I don't know much about the wiring in the taillights and i'm assuming it must be just a fuse. What do you guys think? if it is a fuse could i just go up to a local auto shop and buy a replacement? thanks for your help.

It may be a fuse, not sure, but as for the second question, yes, you can just go to an auto parts store and buy replacement fuses.

sounds to me like a faulty wire or a bad conection somewhere. Not a fuse. if it was a fuse the whole taillight would go out because i believe there is only one fuse for the taillight.
