Best Brakes...

I know that Stillen makes cross drilled/slotted rotors for 3rd gens. do they fit w/ stock calipers? Do you reccomend stillen brake pads or from SWAutoWorks? Does anyone have those rotors? How much was it for the install? Thanks

I've come to realize that if you auto-x or plan to have a REALLY fast car then x-drills/slots will be helpful. but if you have nothing really special and its just a street car, a set of Brembo blanks, SS lines and Axxis MMs will work wonders for daily driving!

Brembo blanks are not all that expensive. I've noticed most of the local auto places carry them and everything.

Well, if you ever did decide to go with Stillen, buy from GR Racing

I just bought my metal master pads, x-drillled/slotted brembo rotors and goodridge stainless steel lines from www.raceconcepts.net and i would like to say that their service was excellent, and the products were as advertised.

I have had the stuff in my car for the past 2.5 weeks and I have had no problems with anything. since i like to drive "spiritedly" i woudl have to say these brake upgrades will be a definite plus to my ability to stop multiple times.

www.raceconcepts.net

ask for a Wood S Ly. and let him know u heard about this from the maxima.org site...he gave me a very good deal on everything.

or email them at sales@raceconcepts.net, or here's the rest of the info:

YES, they're made to fit the stock brake system. this stuff isn't hard to change either. buy a service manual and it will tell you how to change it.. the service manual will even cost less money than having them done for you. it takes about 30 min to change rotors and pads and can usually be done with basic hand tools.
