the brakes don't even come close to stock.. neither does the suspension. I'm not using "Factory" seats anymore, plus the stereo, so it's not stock...
I've beefed up the frame, so it's not stock.. I've got a dash kit too, so the dash isn't "stock"..
I've also added about 60lb of dynamat to the car, so it doesn't even sound like the same POS it did a year ago..

so it's not exactly "stock".

Also, look at Matt's tires and tell me if those played a roll
boost? what boost? I don't have boost.

and my tires didn't do squat. I was running ~2.3 60ft times the whole day. when I ran on the same tires last year on a completely different track, I was still pulling 2.30 60ft times.

Come on...you dont think those tires that have practically metal showing hurt your traction a little?

probably didn't make much difference really.. other guys were getting wheel hop, and some were bogging.. I just happened to nail the launch just right a couple times and get some good times.

You didn't take the music out before going to the track? If so that is an excellent time for your car considering how heavy it must be . I still want a rematch though .

I unbolted the amp rack at the track, but that was it. still had the subs back there ~30lb.

amprack was about 65-75lb saved though. noticeable difference between me driving with and without it around town.

dang matt... 60 pounds of dynamat?? was this placed evenly throughout the car or mainly in the trunk area? i only used some to stop some vibrating in the trunk...then again my system is small compared to your setup

yes, I had MAD wheelhop on my Potenza's, but that was on my best run (14.99)...can't wait until they go bald!

it's pretty much evenly distributed through the back half od the car. the front doors have 4-5 layers on them, rear doors have 2-3, and the entire trunk has at least 2. the floor has 2 and the sides have 3 or 4.
