Installing OEM Keyless Entry

Okay.. I searched. There is info pertaining to installing aftermarket keyless w/remote start. What I didn't find was any info on converting a non-Keyless Entry vehicle to OEM Keyless Entry. What parts are needed? Is it more plug and pray then the aftermarket stuff? I've installed an aftermarket unit before and it was a PIA.
