OK - i've got an a/t VG '90 GXE
When i'm goin about 25 - 30 mph, and it shifts from 1st to 2nd, there's sometimes a push/jery forward. On some cars....you cant even feel it shift. Now i know my car is 13 yrs old...does anyone else experiance this? How to fix?

 

is it a "thud" like somehitng is hitting the hood?? probably a worn front mount...pretty common.

 

nah...just a jerk of the whole car shifting. like i'm gettin rear ended by someone...(not TOO hard tho)

 

i know this sounds really stupid, but check your tranny fluid. mine shifted hard like that and when i changed the fluid it was a lot smoother.
