What Redline Tranny Fluid To Use, MTL or MT-90

I am going to be doing my clutch and flywheel next weekend so since I'm changing the clutch and flywheel I want to also change the tranny fluid. I am going to use Redline, but I'm not sure whats best for our car. What do you guys think would be better, the MTL fluid or the MT-90 fluid, I have no idea on tranny fluid, you guys tell me and guide me to the right direction.

Thanks,
D-sta

either's fine though most people gear towards mt-90 for some reason. I'm using MTL now and it's pretty good.

the difference is MT-90 and MTL has to do with temp ranges (different viscosities like oil)

I'm not sure but I know when I was looking, I found MT-90 was best for me. I believe I used almost 5 qts

found this in search - http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....t=redline+mt90

we got 4quarts, but get 5 just to be on the safe side. we didnt use mt-90 cos they were out, so we went with mtl we being matt and I, more like matt alone.

yeah that price is about right...9-10 dollars a quart. Search on the org somewhere, I believe there was a discount for maxima.org members for redline oil, dont know if it is still going on.

www.myoilshop.com has them for $7/qt I think but you'll have to add shipping

Courtesy has them too for about that price.

If you can get them locally for about $10, then that's probably pretty good
