exhaust problems need help
I own a 1994 gxe nissan. Last month my exhaust started to sound weird. When the car was idling at 550-600 rpms i felt a weird wibration in my steering wheel. Also the muffler had irregular sound thump thump thump. Similar to a tracktor. Now I changed my muffler to a sports one Revolution type R muffler, but the problem still exists. There are no leaks in the y-pipe because I checked it. I know that a sports muffler gives out little vibrations but this is to much. Olso as it idles my rpms tend to fall to 500. Please if anyone has any ideas help me. Thanks
