intrax settling

whats up, this friday ive got an appointment to get my intrax put on. I got new struts put on 8 months ago so ill will be waiting for them to blow out before ugrade my struts. a shop is charging me $250 for installation. but any ways i need an aligment very badly and have waiting to put the spring on before doing so. my question is how long should i wait to get my aligment(for springs to settle enought) cause i just had to replace my rear tires do-to ****ty alighment.

You shouldn't have to wait to get an alignment. Actually, you shouldn't wait to get an alignment. Settling in the springs shouldn't affect your alignment at all if they are installed properly.

not really. I was told that i should wait 2-4 weeks before it settles, these are eibachs, any how. if you let them settle then it will be more alleigned when you get it done.and sice the springs didnt settle and you get an alignment and once you start driving around and hitting bumps , the alignment is thrown off.. so your best bet if to wait to it settles then align.

I'm on my third set of aftermarket springs and I've never experienced that. I was speaking from experience, not what someone told me, so maybe I'm wrong... but again that's from experience. I've had my camber change when the springs settled, but it was so slight that it didn't make a difference in tire wear and certainly not a difference in how the car drove straight.
I don't think that your alignment getting thrown off by hitting bumps could have much to do with springs settling. From what I've experienced, ride height has very little to do with how straight your car drives anyway. I would say go ahead and get an alignment as soon as you can, but if you're worried about it then wait two months or whatever. Chances are you'll chew up your tires, though...
