Taillights bulb conect's are terrible HELP!
I know that I'm not the only one with this irritating problem. My tailight bulb connections are very tempermental! It's like that 'Simon' game from the 80's. I never know what bulb will illuminate when I hit my brakes. Half turn on at once-But I never know which ones.
I've seen numerous others with the same issue. Has anyone figured out a solution. Or anyone here with the same problem. I cant stand this- Just another reason to get pulled over by the Feds. Plus it looks terrible.
Any feedback is much appreciated!

UN-technically speaking: it is where the bulb touches the actual connectors. It is a very flimsy fit. This causes the bulb to easily and frequently loose its connection.
I wonder if i could make it a tighter fit so that their not so loose.

you can buy replacement bulb sockets for like $3 each at most parts stores. I had to "rig" mine to stay in place instead of the screw-down sockets that are in there now, but it's a lot cheaper than buying the whole new assembly from Nissan.
the other thing you can do (temp fix) is to tear the socket apart and put a drop of solder on the connector pads on the bulb and the socket. this will take up the clearance between them and will help the situation. problem is it'll come back before long.
