I used to have at least one on my website, but that site is now down.. I think I've got it on my computer at home, and if so I'll upload whichever one(s) I have and repost.

Kitt, this doesn't have anything to do with your question, but where did you get a 'J30 Maxima' (you'll probably say Australia, right?). It's just that I've never heard of it before. What's the difference from the U.S. models? (I noticed the different grille & side marker) Thanks-

Re: the J30...

They have inset reflectors on the rear bumper also...Pretty cool looking and the bumper is designed for the larger license plate too..

that grille is from the australian model maximas.
note the steering wheel is on the right side of the car.

I'm uploading 2 ads from '92 and '94 maximas now.. they're not terribly impressive, but they're there. it will take me a while, since they're each about 12mb in size and I'm only on a 56k connection.

the addresses of them are:
http://www.ee.utulsa.edu/~mblehm/max...1992maxima.avi

http://www.ee.utulsa.edu/~mblehm/max...1994maxima.zip

(notice one is a xip file and the other is an avi. yes, that's right.. unzipped, the files are both about 14mb.)

give it another hour or so to upload... it's 11:20pm now here... I've been uploading for an hour, and I'm only 75% done with the first one.
the second one should take about 45-50 min also...

trying to upload 25meg on a modem connection is a b!tch.

What J30 means, Sidemarkers, the Grill and a big thanks for Matt!

Well guys in Australia our 3rd Gen Maxima's are called J30 Maxima's. It was just a model series code. The Nissan Maxima was released here from 1990 to early 1995. All with the VG30E engine. The was only one facelift with came in 1993 , where the car got polished alloy wheels like mine and a different grill design, and some minor cosmetic changes. Also the dash graphics where upgraded and the car came with Airbag. It came with Automatic only. There were two trim levels. For the 1990-1992 models there was the M and the Ti (Top of the line model) The M missed out on leather steering wheel, ABS brakes, rear spoiler, electric seats and digital keyless entry keypad system. The Ti Had the lot. For the 1993-1995, they used the name Execitive to replace the M. It was the same as before except it got Airbag and some minor interior changes. The Ti was still used in the 1993-1995 facelift series and came with the lot.
Now sidemarkers...Well I don't have a closer picture to show some of U. Well they just look round and flash as you indicate which direction you wish to go when signialing. Well the grill was different in the 1990-1992 models. See LP's picture in here with my other replys. The 1993 facelift models grill is the one like on my car. I would also like to take this oppitunity to thank Matt for the downloadble commercials on the Maxima. Thankyou Matt. It was worth the wait. If anyone wants to know more about the Australian model Maxima's just let me know.
