Ive only had my '92 Max SE (5spd) for like a week now and my (twin) brother just got to drive it today. Right now, hes driving a '90 Talon TSi (5spd). i wasnt with him, but im sure he pounded on my car when he drove it. im sure he was liking the leather, power sunroof, keyless entry and all the other bells and whistles, not to mention the plethera of power available. to get any power out of his car, hes got to rev the thing to unnatural RPMS. he got back and i asked him if he liked it, all he said was 'ya'. ha. i asked him if he wanted to race, but wait, his car is in the shop. hahaha. hes lookin at a new thermostat and all this new plumbing he has to have put in. ahh....isnt natural aspiration beautiful. hes probably going to drop at least $300.
even when he does get back, ill want to race him. i know i wont will but ill sure give him a run for his money.

so are you laughing that he has to put money into his car to fix it?? That's how I took what u were saying...I wouldn't laugh...yeah you got a nice car but things go wrong with it to...I just droped 2K for a new tranny 4 months ago & am looking at faulty injectrs now...hmmm another 1K? Possibly...this bites...

yea my brothers jelous too, he paid 5k for his 90 camry like 1 and half years ago, and i got my car in october for 4400, and mine woops the **** out of his in everyway. he doesnt even dare race, crappy *** 4 banger doesnt go anywhere, and the stupid box. and he cant give me credit for my car being cooler then his, i love it!! hes so jealous! 
hmmm, if it's the same as the eclipses (160 or 190hp turbo 4 banger), then you should pretty well be able to smoke him.
I can fairly easily keep up with an '88 probe GT (160hp turbo 2.0liter I think)
I think the '90+ talons and eclipses had 190hp.. they're small and light and will kick the !)@#( out of a stock VG maxima if the other guy has a 5 spd and good driver.

I'm confused....
You mentioned you have a 92 SE 5-spd... but in your sig you say you have a 91... so which is it??
