2 max's and same seatbelt prob.

I previously owned a 91 se....occasionaly the seatbelt light will blink and it will chime for about 5 seconds. And yes, the seatbelts are connected. I figured a wiring fluke. My current max is a 92 se. Low and behold same problem. Periodically the seatbelt light will illuminate, and it will chime for about five seconds..or less. This problem seems to happen more often with my currrent car...anyone give advice on this...thanks in advance.

common prob...but the dealer will fix it free of charge since the seat belts are under a lifetime warranty. only catch is they have to ACTUALLY see the problem happen(light blink and chime go off)....good luck, but take it in anyways and see what they say.
