1) I had my number 1,3,5 injectors replaced with used injectors but well withing spec. I did this because my car was sounding like a freakin go kart. After the install of new injectors still got the same go kart sound but it went away quickly. Now all of the sudden within the last few weeks it has come back. Also right before the go kart sound came back I noticed a huge what it seems to me like an exhaust leak coming from between the back of the engine and the firewall.

2) When I rev the car up to around 4k or 5k and let go of the gas the engine seems like its backfiring, almost like as soon as i let off the gas you kind of hear like a pop as its going down in rpms.
Could it be something besides injectors? I have broken rear exhaust manifold studs, could these be the problem? Any help is greatly appreciated

by the way the car starts up like a go kart now about 1 out of every 20-30 start ups so its kind of not that frequent.
