Paint job looks nice. I see on your cardomain page that you said you were going to get a cheap paint job. How much did it run you if you dont mind me asking?

nope..
just wondered what the price would be to paint it pearl white.. or if anything the best cheapest white of good quality. I though about toying with the idea of painting my maxima blue.. but it would be too much money.

oops, that poll aint supposed 2 b there

i got sum body work done as well (replaced bumper covers, had a quarter panel rebondoed, and got rid of rust here and there), everything together was 2 grand, and the guy cut me a deal b/c i told him upfront what i could pay and he ran into stuff he wasnt expecting, and my car took a month because he had family problems...if u search the site u will see that u get what u pay for...my job isnt perfect, but its what i expected for the money...also worth noting is i did some of the prep work myself (sanding and removing trim parts) because the car was in such bad shape...

what color was the car before? You say its so bright but also say on your page that its superwhite. Superwhite is the factory white color on the 3rd gens so did you go with a different code off of another car or was your car a different color before the paint job?

Looks nice. I love nice clean white 3rd gens.

oh and why didnt they paint the lower part of the bumper black since they painted the lower panels on the body and rear bumper black (or dark grey whatever color it is)...just personal pref or are you getting a front lip...and do you like the older grill better then then 92-94 just wandering why you would swap it out? Sorry if you say why on your page but the colors you chose are hard on my eyes and cant really read what you wrote.

care looks good wish I was ready for paint...I am close though.

its complicated...i thought the original color 4 3rd gens was the pearl white, but either way i didnt go w/ a nissan color...b/f the car was custom 5 colors (insert laugh here) of white b/c my car has been wrecked and the body work done was crap

my body shop guy had all kinds o colors 2 choose from, i choose the whitest white he had (i think it was like artic white, same color as corvette white or sumthin) b/c i just wanted it 2 b bright

the reason why the bumper isnt black is cause it wasnt b/f...i kinda like it that way, i was gonna have the whole car white, but i just let the body guy choose what he thought was best or whatever, i trusted his judgment and i like how the car came out...besides, it makes my car unique

on the grill, from previous accidents they replaced the grill w/ an ealier yr, and i havent replaced it...i was going 2 4 the paint job, but i totally forgot about it in the slew of parts i had 2 order, its no biggie...

2 sum it up, its always a work in progress, as im sure u know

like awsm66 said - the white is actually called "super white" and the 'oatmeal' color is satin white pearlglow

here's Randy's oatmeal car

the new paint looks good

thanks for clearing the paint thing up. At least your car was different colors of white instead of primer grey, super white, pearl white and black like mine is right now

I had a Camaro that I had painted Oxford white which at the time was the brightest white I had seen. I took the tail lights off and the factory white looked yellow compared to the oxford white. I really like bright whites.
